From watchmaking to leather goods, Brasport upholds an exceptional level of craftsmanship, where traditional artistry meets technical innovation to bring unique products to life. While strap-making has become the company’s true signature, our expertise goes far beyond. Cases, boxes, pouches, and bespoke pieces are now an integral part of our universe, meeting the creative needs of the world’s leading luxury brands.
Bespoke Leather Goods Production in Portugal
Our leather goods production center is based in Portugal. Working in close connection with our teams in Switzerland, this site ensures rigorous oversight of every project, from concept to completion. Each product is entirely bespoke, designed to meet our clients’ aesthetic, technical, and environmental requirements.
To support this growth and address the social and environmental challenges of our industry, Brasport founded Premium for Leather in 2021, a dedicated entity bringing together more than 80 employees, a high-performance prototyping office, and a team fully committed to Research & Development.
La responsabilité environnementale et sociale fait partie des valeurs essentielles du groupe Brasport. C’est pourquoi nous investissons continuellement dans des actions concrètes et des processus certifiés.
Environmental and social responsibility is a core value of the Brasport Group. That is why we continuously invest in concrete actions and certified processes.
Aware of social and environmental challenges, the Brasport Group places responsibility at the heart of its industrial strategy. This commitment has been reinforced through the achievement of several major certifications: ISO 9001 for quality in May 2024, followed in March 2025 by ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety and ISO 14001 dedicated to environmental management. Finally, in December 2025, Premium for Leather obtained SA 8000 certification, confirming its high standards in social responsibility.
Beyond these standards, the company continues to pursue sustainable initiatives, such as a recycling project aimed at valorising materials and reducing environmental impact, as well as the continuous optimisation of all production processes.
The year 2026 will mark an important milestone, with the strengthening and modernisation of the internal laboratory, the expansion of the Fraction C production site by 1,850 m², and the development of the dedicated R&D team. Premium for Leather also plans to launch the production of large leather goods, including handbags, while intensifying the Group’s commercial strategy in this segment.
Premium for Leather thus embodies the new industrial generation of the Brasport Group: a structure that combines excellence, innovation, mastery of materials, and responsible commitment to deliver high-value bespoke leather goods.
